14 October 2008 – President Musharraf gave a banquet in honour of Retired Army Officers which included Lieutenant General Retd. Ather Ali Khan, Lieutenant General Retd. Salah-ud-Din Satti, Lieutenant General Retd. Sabir and Lieutenant General Retd. Safdar.

Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani was also present on the occasion.

President Musharraf lauded the services of the retired Lieutenant Generals for the country, exchanged views on the law and order situation of the country and added that his policy against war on terror was launched thoughtfully.

President Pervez Musharraf also said, that the policy against war on terror launched by him, should remain continued.
