This week on GPS with Fareed Zakaria, an exclusive interview with former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. If Pakistan and Afghanistan are the biggest global stories of the moment (and they are), the man who can shed the most light on them is surely Pervez Musharraf – the man who resigned from power in Pakistan just nine months ago.
Musharraf, speaking on CNN’s "Fareed Zakaria GPS," said he wishes the current government well and that he "would be the happiest person" if the nation deals well with threats such as the growing political and martial strength of the Taliban.
"If Pakistan is in trouble and if any Pakistani, myself included — if you can see that we can do something for it — well … my life is for Pakistan," he said.
He noted that Zardari, the widower of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, was elected by two-thirds of Pakistan’s parliament.
"Democratically, he’s elected by two-thirds. And these are the people who are the representatives of the same people you’re talking of — 19 percent in favor … ," he said.

WOW. This is the man for Pakistan. Pakistan is very unfortunate to lose this person as our president. He is a true Pakistani. Its a good news that he is thinking about coming back in politics. I wish him good luck.
During his 8 years tenure, undoubtedly, Pakistan enjoyed the best economic conditions in decades. His critics witnessed the downturn (fall in the value of Pak.Rupees and the declining growth rate)as soon as he left the President House. I wish we could have more Pervez Musharrafs in this country to fight feudals, save Pakistan from their selfish motives
If somebody is worth living or dieing for it is this guy. He has done so much for Pakistan and the Islamic World.
Over years I have been finding solutions for Pakistan’s Problems thinking, Deliberating and finding solutions. This man took up at least 80% of the problems and solved them on ground.
The greatest problem of Pakistan is that People of Pakistan have never invested any thing in Pakistan lately. So it doesn’t hurt them to see Pakistan loose so easily. Only those who have invested something in Pakistan are having problem…which definitely includes me

This guy have no shame that he violated the constitution, appointed himself martial law administrator, chief executive, president, etc. in uniform, you name it, destroyed the Supreme Court, put judges and opposition leaders in jail, used the Parliament, destroyed democracy, considered himself above the law but when the time came to face the music could not take the heat and ram away without paying his electric bills. It is disgrace to call him a leader or even a military general,some one who brought shame to his people and fatherland.

How is that possible and how we can enhance Now the state bank held the whole banks advisory and check and balance committees and strong monitoring to control the losses and frauds he gets the lots of funds investment by the other countries I salute him on his unforgettable role & services during ruling govt tenure of Musharaf. He is the that after quad-e-azam / ayub khan / Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto & General ZIA who save and protect the Pakistan & it’s nation and take them out to a lots of crises war & terror even economical depth I find him the Honest loyal and talented president in his all period he did hard work and gave the beautiful peaceful country and he is aware about govt handling it tact’s and no doubt he is critical person who can face the all the challenges like Afghanistan 9/11 matter and Iraq war he have GOD gifted administrative guts he fighted to each and every circle and faced to all of them by his expertise. He keeps the cream under him in government operational setup who was all of those critical and honest people Like Dr. Ishrat Hussain / Mr. Shoukat Aziz / Dr. Abdul Hafeez A Sheikh & Dr. Salman Shah etc. These are all international critical and designated persons who came to Pakistan on President Request to save the Pakistan and no doubt really they worked hard and change the Pakistan’s economic picture and gifted to Pakistani Nation

We could reduce the poverty ratio and can increase again the whole Pakistani living standard like we got in your govt. walking person get the Motor Bike, Motor Bike one get the Car , Car one get the Latest Cars and rental person get the own home by the bank consumer facilitation services we would really appericiate the presidential programe too (President Rozgar Scheme Poor and Middle class persons by this facility could get their own business and personal loan and credit card paid the citizens houspitals bills, and pay the part in the wedding of daughters and sisters, free education till Matriculation in provinces Paid the handsome amount to re construction and their assistance to Sailab Zadgan and zalzala zadgan etc.

Pakistan need a great leaders like him. He has did alof for our country. Looking into history i have seen that Pakistan always got Developed in military government. He has given Pakistan in far better condition to our present Government. In 1999 Pakistan was called as failed state at the time of Nawaz Sharif Government. Our politicians are such a great ridiculous that when country fell to down they invite army to take over because they know that army have capability to handle the country in more better way.
He has really did alof for this country
-He freed the media and TV Channels who are displaying what is happening in pakistan today and people are awared about every thing whats going on in country.
-He attracted billions of dollar investment in Pakistan.
-He took step to eliminate the radical element from the country.
-He privatize many institutions to increas productivity and quality of service and elimination of Corruption.
-He saved country after 9/11 other American Army would be running on our streets.
-He change the perception of people and get them know where we are.
-he is really a great leader that can only make pakistan more prosperior then our bullshit politicians who never thought about this country and nation.
-Zardari, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Nawaz Sharif and other ridiclous people of Government who never been in country in last 10 years, Suddenly they came and become the part of Government. These politicians are those who live out side the country for years and come to country to ear it.
