I have always heard our “politicians” saying “dictators didnt let us serve our country.They ruled 30years on pakistan so we couldnt do much for our country”. I have a question for them. Pakistan got independant 63 years ago apart from the 30years of dictator(s) rule what did you do in 33 years for your country???? If we look at our history i would say that the people they call “Dictators” were the real saviours of pakistan.Lets start from Ayub khan who secure pakistan from water agression of india and made it signed indus water treaty,the only treaty wich ensured pakistan its due water share. The only two major dams that pakistan is having tarbella and mangla were made in his tenure. Industrial revolution have you forgoten all that???? F-16s wich you proudly show as a deterent force, if you remember, were procured in Zia’s tenure. Not alot people may be knowing the fact that it was in his rule that pakistan’s uranium enrichment was at its peak. If he had bow down to the world pressure at that time,would pakistan have been a nuclear country today?? Would we have been able to save our skin from india??? Now lets come to our last socalled “dictator” The only person who talked about Kalabagh dam in Decades who tried very hard to develop a consensus on it and now Our govt have simply rejected this dam.Foriegn Direct investment being at its peak, one must not forget to mention the telecommunication revolution, The media wich today points everything back to him got a boost in his tenure.Standard of living improved considerably. When he came pakistan reserves were only few million bucks, when he left pakistan reserves were 16billion dollars and now in so called Democratic government rule pakistan reserves are $ 10billion.When he came pakistan was a debtor by $ 40billion when he left they were 38billion $, who took pakistan out of IMFs crunch and now in two years after his rule departed pakistan is back in the hands of IMF with it being a creditor of 13 billion dollars. America being a creditor of another 7.5 billion $ under K.L.A. FOP with 5.1 billion dollars making pakistan a total debtor of 63.6 billion $. Almost twice as much when he left. I want to ask you people are you seeing this 25.6 billion $ that we took in two years being spend in your country???? Its a huge sum afterall. Have you seen any mega project starting??? NO!!! A dollar in his rule was at 63rs and now 84rs. What we have seen is 18hrs of loadsheding, increase in the rates of water billing cahrges, electricity bills, no gas in winters no LIGHT in wnters,200-450% increase in the prices of basic comodities, impositon of new taxes with VAT being another tax pending to be imposed by 1st june 2010 in addition to GST. if you buy a hundred rupees mobile card 16% GST n 16% VAT making a tax of total 32rs, you load 100rs and you get your account recharged by 68rs.This is what POLITICIANS has given us in just two years i wonder what they will do to this country and its people if they rule for a few more years. Does a common man has any interest who is the CJP??? Does making 18th amendmend in constitution puts more money in his pocket??? Does he have any concern with how many new provinces are being made??? Does this benifit him through any mean??? Do he cares that who is ruling the country a democratic govt or a dictatator. These things arnt his areas of interest what he cares about is that does he have enough money to take home where his children and his wife are sitting hungry waiting for him to bring food for them. What he cares about is that is he goin to come back home safe and sound, is his children getting pure water to drink, are they geting education wich is thier primery right, is electricity coming so he and his family could sleep in peace, does he has the basice ficilites like gas on wich he could cook his food, what is the bus fair, how much one litr of petrol costs etc etc. these are his real concern if he gets all these things will he care who runs his country??? Have these politicians given him any of these basic ficilities or have driven him more far from them in 2years??? Have they even touched these issues??? Have they done anything to make a common mans life alittle easier??? Im sure the facts are qiute convincing that the people we call dictators are the real saviours of pakistan and so is Gen(retd) PERVAIZ MUSHARAF. The real saviour the real well wisher of Pakistan and its people. If he says “pakistan first” i have every reason to beleive him. I remember his last speech when for the first and last time i saw tears in his eyes but i have no doubt whatsoever that they were for pakistan because he knew that pakistan was going in the hands of theives. One of the sentence in his last speech still echoes in my mind “pakistan k log mujhe yaad kareinge” and people are now realising that they lived a much better life in his rule then what kind of life they are living today.
Sir Pakistan really needs you today,these DOGS have eaten our country its people are living a misreble life once again this country is looking for a leader who can actually lead the nation not eat the nation. All due apologies that i could not mention all of your acheivments above.
