To Musharraf, where ever he is now, I wanted to say that I think Musharraf did a good job when he was President of Pakistan.
I am a westerner so my views may not hold much weight, but I remember the law he passed which would enable women if raped in that country to be able to go to the police and press charges without the aid of multiple male witness.
At the time he took a great deal of flack for it, and yet he stood his ground regardless, because it was so important for women to have that right.
I don’t believe that he was responsible for what happened to Bhutto and it’s a horrible accusation to have thrust upon anyone.
The other thing I recall most about him was that he had one of the most modern websites that I can remember, which is saying a lot that he paid attention to such small details.
I hope whatever he is doing now, he is doing it with as much mind and consideration as he has anything else. I think it’s quite an accomplishment to have also written his book while he was in office, and i do wish him well in his current endeavours.
Best Regards,
GmB

since creation of pakistan, i don’t see any 1 as capable of running this country as Musharraf did.

Musharraf was the best person for Pakistan afater a long time. the only opposition was based on the fact that he was an Army chief and that he stood against the Taliban religious mafia.
