We Need Support of all your Musharraf Supporters out there who don’t want him to Go ! Think about the Country and its Future ! So Please come and Join the Press Conference on August 25th 2008 at Lahore Press Club !

Sir, I, being a serviceman, am not much into politics, however now I see the state symbols (The Presidency) being tarnished to no extent, I hereby submit my full support to you and your allies in this stand off against people attempting the barbaric yet funny act of “impeachment”, the word so popular today. Not only is it unnecessary, but totally catastrophic for the country; reasons we ‘all’ know. We also know that this is certainly NOT about inept policies, neither about corruption charges, its only vengeance by the incumbent government coalition. Speaking of coalition, out of whom, two people who stand out as ‘ brand names ‘ for the so called incompetent coalition, viz-a-vis, Mr. Zardari and Mr. Sharif, whose pasts seem to have been forgotten by their touts just as much as there names had been written off from minds of people, during the early era of this millennium who now are holding ministries,. Much is going wrong in this country and I dread about the time to come if matters relating to running of the state affairs would continue to be handled so clumsily. Today, I heard about someone from Sindh Assembly having irresponsibly charged the sitting President of the country of Benazir’s murder – which I think should have been taken as a serious crime, considering that the baseless allegation came from some matriculate leader against the President of Pakistan. The question is: have we gone blind and deaf? Don’t we all see these actions are precedence to actually making Pakistan a banana republic that wherein all state institutions (the Presidency and The Supreme Court) would be practically hijacked by Mr Zardari and his advocates? Have we all forgotten that, with all the economic indicators vouching, the last decade happened to be Pakistan’s most flourishing years? Have we forgotten, that it was only in the last nine years in history we saw hope of a truly prosperous, moderate, thriving Pakistan? Have we also forgotten that in this entire period of time, our President had been looked up globally as a popular statesman? I can go on endlessly trying to convince the people not to entangle their anti–army sentiments with their opinions about the President. It’s really not an effort to discern here just where the tumbledown started for the country. Six months down the road, this government has little to boast about achievements made at all. Six months down, there is shamefully more incapacities, failures, misconducts to hide under none other than the so called charge-sheet against the President of Pakistan; thanks to Al-Qaeda they furnished them with a ready-made one as I don’t even think they had the brains to come up with any! So all they have to do is make a Xerox of it and voila … they start dreaming about raising Bhutto slogans in the Presidency. How naive can one think! I have blind faith in you, Sir, General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf, The President of Pakistan, and may you continue to be so. I genuinely praise you for all that you have accomplished as President and I also admire you for all those virtues that have proved you as a ‘Bold, Charismatic, Modern-day leader’ as quoted by Washington Post. My little collection of books prominently contains “In the Line of Fire”. Having read it many a times, I often refer to it during small table talk discussions with people. In fact, I have close associates, family friends, who unanimously support you in true sagacity. In fact, to the best of my wisdom, there exists a huge population, especially in urban centres of Pakistan, who share this goodwill stance about you and therefore impulsively have a strong downbeat opinion about the impeachment. We, the supporters of President Pervaiz Musharraf, soberly pledge and reinstate our support; and pray that your fortitude, valour and steadfastness that we have seen over the years, would not succumb you to this reckless charge-sheet being prepared by the self proclaimed ‘Ambassadors of Democracy’. Long Live President Musharraf!
Great move, Count me and a few friends that I shall bring along =]
Salamalikum and wish you all the best. Our prayers are with you and your success .Have one in Karachi so that we can attend .Its time that lahoris get up and come out to show support to our president and to pakistan

This is the Message from the Organizer
My Fellow Members:
A sad day in Pakistan’s History…………………………..
I believe, to go out on the streets, after his resignation, could be dangerous. But again, I had emails from people to hold one before its to late. I couldn’t have, due to getting a green light from certain individuals who are part of the Forum and getting my message. On Aug. 25, 2008, I would not like to let go of this date without voicing some concerns to the media.
**Ideas are welcome, But we can hold a press conference, and cheer the past achievements of our Former President. Again, it is your choice. But I will land in Pakistan on the 22nd.
Zaidi
I think u should go ahead beacuse now is a time when Mr.Pervaiz Musharaff needs the support of his supporters the most ,with the list of cases they are ready to put on to his head.
Sadly, I am not in Pakistan ,but trying to spread the word as much as I can.
Once again , please go ahead. This is THE time !
Salaam,
I think you should go ahead,it is very important to be out their in the media supporting the president as it might give those voices who are reluctant to say anything in the Presidents support to actually come out and join the organsitation supporting MUSHARRAF.
