President Pervez Musharraf has decided to jump into full time politics but not until he moves into his new home at Chak Shahzad as he does not want to misuse the Army House.
“I don’t want to make the Army House a hub of political activities because of its unique nature, but my political headquarter will be my personal residence once I shift there,” Musharraf has told his visitors.

14 October 2008 - President Musharraf gave a banquet in honour of Retired Army Officers which included Lieutenant General Retd. Ather Ali Khan, Lieutenant General Retd. Salah-ud-Din Satti, Lieutenant General Retd. Sabir and Lieutenant General Retd. Safdar.
Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani was also present on the occasion.
President Musharraf lauded the services of the retired Lieutenant Generals for the country, exchanged views on the law and order situation of the country and added that his policy against war on terror was launched thoughtfully.
President Pervez Musharraf also said, that the policy against war on terror launched by him, should remain continued.

In his latest appearance, President Musharraf receives students from LUMS Lahore and NCA Rawalpindi. Here, one of the students, Amyn A. Ghulamali, says the President was gracious and upbeat. He answered questions about his government but did not blame others where responsibility was his own. According to this student, Mr. Musharraf left his latest visitors with the impression of ‘a simple God fearing patriotic Pakistani.’
The Students were invited to the Army House on Saturday to have a one-on-one discussion with the Ex-President Pervez Musharraf.

Asif Ali Zardari, the son of Pakistani politician Hakim Ali Zardari, was born on 21 July 1956. He grew up in Karachi and had a privileged childhood, attending St Patrick’s High School, the same school former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf attended. He later enrolled himself at the London School of Economics.
Zardari married Benazir Bhutto on Dec 18, 1987, which was arranged by their families. Zardari had met Bhutto only five days before the wedding, though negotiations had started taking place almost six months ago. Before his marriage, he was known as a polo-playing playboy who owned a private disco in his own house.
However, after tying the knot, Zardari’s personality was largely overshadowed by the political figure of Bhutto.
